   Reupholstering of a dinette chair with elastic rubber webbing making it even better!

Seat removed from chair with caning.  Caning removed and reed sanded smooth.

Notice that all edges have been rounded to stop chafing of webbing.

Elastic rubber webbing being stretched and installed.  Top of seat webbing completed.

         Bottom View.            H.R. Foam has been glued to frame and cut 5/8 inch bigger.

    Construction of a seat like this is very comfortable. The seat will spring back as if you had

 metal springs in the seat. The webbing needs very little space. A spring seat would need

an area of at least 4 inches to perform like a webbing seat.                                         

A webbing seat can be installed on any type dinette chair!
